Welcome to Robynne Marie Creative! I am a videographer, filmmaker and whisky enthusiast, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. For as long as I can remember, I've been in love with films. From indie romances to fantasy, to sci-fi and everything in between, I've grown up imagining myself living the lives of the characters in the movies. Film has a way of transporting you, and I've always been 100% invested in the adventure. In my work, I aspire to give you your movie moment, a'la Greta Gerwig (Little Women), Damien Chazelle (LaLa Land) or Richard Curtis (About Time). You are looking for a relaxed, fun, laid back approach to your day. While I take my inspiration from film directors, you are not actors, and this is not Hollywood. I want you to forget I’m even there and just enjoy the moment as it happens!

You watched “About Time” 20 times as a kid and thought “I want my love story to look like that”. Whether it’s a full on wedding with 200 guests, or just the two of you at City Chambers, you deserve the perfect movie montage, and that’s what I aim to deliver.

You too, are a hopeless romantic. If you haven’t guessed, I am a rom-com girly through and through and tend to romanticize the hell out of life. If you are a fellow delusional, love obsessed, cinephile, we will get on just fine!
I'm Not the videographer for you if...
You are searching for elegant, classical and staged video. While these types of videos can be stunning, it’s not what I do! I’m here for the messy, fun, casual and REAL moments that bring your story to life.
My Style:
I love film grain, nostalgia, dreamy cool tones, messy candids, vintage influences, a hint of saturation and a perfectly matched musical score.
Weddings:
Ok, we love a movie moment, but how does that actually translate into a wedding film? Well it starts, of course, with you. Each couple is unique, and I want to take the time to get to know you and your story. After booking with me, we'll plan a coffee date or video call where I'll learn all about you, your interests, how you met and highlight the elements that make you as a couple unique.
My goal is to capture the REAL essence of you and your day. From the small details, to guest candid's, to your wedding portraits, I'll be a fly on the wall, filming as unobtrusively as possible. I'll offer minimal prompting, and instead put my focus towards shooting the real smiles, real laughs and real moments. I may offer gentle guidance to enhance a scene, but for the most part, I like to let you lead the way and watch as the story unfolds.
After your wedding, I'll comb through the footage, find the perfect songs and curate a cinematic highlight reel of your day. I use all of these elements to create your own personal movie montage. The result is a film that will transport you right back, allowing you to re-live you're most important day for years to come.

Looking for a couple shoot, engagement session or solo film? All of the above still applies! I use the same style, care and attention to detail in all my work. For shorter sessions, I'll offer you a few more prompts and some helpful guidance to curate a beautiful moving portrait. What better way to commemorate your special moments?
